However, this is one of those sets that many collectors either love, or hate. Some non-sports card purists
are put off by the cards' baseball connection, while others aren't bothered by it at all.

On the other side of the collecting world, there are sports card collectors who  consider the set too "non-sporty",
while others embrace the approach.

Occasionally, collectors encounter very thin stickers which feature the same fronts as Baseball Weird-Ohs
cards. Though collectable, these stickers were not issued with the cards but were inserted into the Hawk
Model boxes.

As with 1966 Weird-Ohs, there are several Golf related cards in this set which are highly sought after by
Golf collectors.
