Much like the Dark Shadows, Addams Family and Munsters card sets, this was another 1960's card set that was specifically geared to appeal to fans of the applicable television show. If you liked the show, you loved the cards. If you didn't like the show, the cards didn't matter. Voyage
to the Bottom of the Sea cards use black and white images from the show
and employ a "water blue" colored back
The entire cast is shown with many shots of Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Captain Lee Crane (David Hedison). While
there are no monsters in this set, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea cards
are a favorite among fans of 1960's sci-fi
